A light-hearted Vinyasa practice for those looking for an energizing work out. Various options for every pose allow this class to be suitable for different levels, including true beginners who are already used to moderate physical activity.

Ashtanga

BACK IN NOVEMBER

A class designed to introduce you to the Ashtanga Primary Series and to help you improve your current practice. Similar to a flow class, this practice will be fast paced and energizing. Suitable for all levels.

SUNSET STRETCH

BACK IN NOVEMBER

A slower paced, Hatha practice to ease into a relaxing evening. Moving gently into poses and allowing time for proper alignment makes this perfect for first time yogis, a second practice of the day, or just taking it a bit easier.

YIN

A slow, deep and meditative practice to compliment more physical or yang practices. A series of seated or lying postures held for longer periods of time aimed to stretch the connective tissues in the body, relax the mind, increase joint mobility and regulate the energy in the body.

Yoga is endless; we can swim in its seas as far or as deeply as our interest and energy carry us. Every one of us is navigating our own unique path and will therefore always be on somewhat different levels. This is exactly why multi level classes can and do work well. Various options for each pose are always given so that you can choose your own practice by listening to the intelligence of your own body. There is no such thing as the perfect yoga body, rather, yoga is perfect for every body!

Over the last 13 years, I have watched the tides of my yoga practice ever flow and change from year to year, day to day, breath to breath. An accepting awareness of where you are in each moment is an invaluable lesson we can learn from yoga. Leading yoga practices with that lesson in mind, Oasis Yoga daily classes ebb and flow with the changing needs and desires of all who join us.

Lanta is a small but healing island that shares its inherent relaxation with so many who come and go. At Oasis, we feel extremely grateful to live here year round and our goal is to help you to take your Lanta experience to the next level. Before moving to the island, we found ourselves visiting year after year to have the water wash away the cares of daily life and the sun rejuvenate our souls. Now, our goal is to help you develop the tools to take the peace of holistic health home with you. We hope you come to Lanta for the breath taking beaches but come back for the life giving breath of yoga.
